Many people believe that Tiger muay thai are the best camp to train at in Phuket. Which in part is true. But it really depends on what your looking for. For instance, I’ve met people who loved it because there were many westerners there and they felt very comfortable and at home. And I’ve met a lot of people who really disliked it for that same reason.
I think that if you really want the muay thai experience, you should definitely train at a more thai-style gym. Now I’m not saying that you should definitely come and train with us, but there are many gyms (like ours) who focus on traditional muay thai.
Half of the members of our gym are real professional muay thai fighters who come to train. We’re not some happy-clappy package holiday gym. We are training real thai fighters. If you come and train with us, you will get the experience of training alongside pro thai boxers and by some of the best muay thai trainers in the world.
